CANARY ISLAND DAY
The "Día de Canarias" is one of the most important celebrations in the Canary Islands. It is commemorated on the day of the first session of the autonomous Canarian Parliament on 30 May 1983.
Since then, this day has been celebrated annually: schools and shops remain closed, Canarian customs and traditions are maintained, folklore groups perform music and dances in the village squares and there are typical Canarian dishes.
Every year in the Anthroposophical Centro, we celebrate "Canary Islands Day" in the Restaurant. Our team delights us all with Canarian delicacies and a large number of our employees come for a festive occasion in island dress.
