BOOKING CONDITIONS - TRAVEL INFORMATION

Summary:

 

Reservation conditions:

  • With the acceptance of the booking conditions the reservation becomes binding.

  • You will receive a booking confirmation within 24 hours by email.


Cancellation of the online reservation:

  • A cancellation of the online reservation is only possible within the first 24 hours after the online reservation.


Terms of payment:

  • Payment must be made in full before arrival. The invoice can be paid by bank transfer or credit card (Mastercard/ Visa ).

  • The reservation is only binding with a deposit of 200,00 €. The first payment should be made by bank transfer. Any transfer fees incurred will be at your expense.

  • With the reservation confirmation you will receive details of the payment modalities (bank details, deadlines, etc.).


Arrival:

  • Please always let us know your arrival time. The accommodation is available from 1pm.


Departure:

  • Rooms must be vacated by at least 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you wish to keep the room longer, we charge an extra fee, depending on availability.


Cancellation of reservation:

  • Cancellations must always be made in writing and will not be valid without our confirmation.


Cancellation fees:
From the date of confirmation of the reservation and on the invoiced amount:

  • For cancellation up to 45 days prior to the date of arrival, the cancellation penalty, will be 10%;

  • For cancellations up to 30 days prior to the date of arrival, the cancellation penalty will be 30%;

  • For cancellations up to 22 days prior to the date of arrival, the cancellation penalty will be 60%;

  • For cancellations up to 21 days prior to the date of arrival, the cancellation penalty will be 80%.

  • It is considered "no show" when the GUEST does not show up at the HOTEL on the day of arrival and has not cancelled the reservation, the penalty would be 100% of the total amount of the stay.

If you have to cancel, the costs can be covered by a travel cancellation insurance, which includes the flight and the stay.

Additional useful information on/before arrival

Arrival:

  • Arrival is possible any day of the week. The length of stay does not have to be by week.

  • Lanzarote is approached by all charter airlines. Destination airport: Arrecife.

  • Every flight contributes to global warming. Passengers can make a voluntary contribution to the greenhouse gases caused. The money is invested in solar, hydroelectric, biomass or energy-saving projects, for example, in order to save a quantity of greenhouse gases that have a comparable effect on the climate as the aircraft's emissions.   • Arrival from the airport is by taxi, travel time about 15 minutes, costs about 18,-€. There is no pick-up service from the Centro!

Airport transfer:
to the Apartamentos Tamarindos in Puerto del Carmen:

  • by taxi - about 15 minutes - it costs about 18 €

  • by bus; the bus line 161 goes to Puerto del Carmen - Balcon del Mar - is about 400m away
     

Check in/out:

  • at the reception of Apartamentos Tamarindos also for guests who have booked accommodation at Finca Lomos Altos.


Allergies:

  • Please indicate already with your booking request if you have allergies.

  • For allergic persons special bed linen sets (mattress, pillow, blanket) are available,

  • Catering in the restaurant is possible for certain allergies

  • We are happy to advise you.

Apartments:
In the bedrooms of the apartaments there are two single beds and most of them have a sofa-bed (for 2 person) in the living room.
Equipment:

  • There is no television in the rooms, as this is unfavourable for rest and recuperation during the holiday. In the library there is a TV for common use.

  • There are mosquito nets on the bedroom windows.

  • All accommodations have a safe (extra charge).

  • Accommodation without air-conditioning, ventilators or heating - the average temperature on Lanzarote does not require this type of equipment, which we consider to be unnecessary electricity consumption. However, we do provide our guests with small heaters in case of exceptionally cold weather.

  • In the bathroom: bath with shower (except for wheelchair accessible flats).

  • In the kitchen: hob, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils (no oven).

  • Bath towels and bed linen

  • Beach and pool towels not included.

  • Bathrobes and beach/pool towels can be rented at our reception.

  • There are two outdoor swimming pools (one heated), plus an indoor heated therapeutic pool (extra charge).

  • Banks / Money: Banks and ATMs are located in the immediate vicinity of the Centro. You can withdraw money at any bank with your credit or debit card (with charges).
